A return to mass attendance at the 5th round of the Pearce Series at Bucknell Woods has seen a shake up in the standings, with some close racing denying some the chance to improve on their worst result and some big scores for the Army - but even they weren't quick enough to catch soon-to-be-civvy Ben Deakin who finished 2nd in Expert and notched up his second 20 point maximum of the season. He now holds a commanding lead with a race in hand and only the last Northern Downhill race (Kielder, 20-21 Oct) eligible for CSR points.
